Job Title: MPN Solutions Support Manager – Greater China
Reporting to: Global Manager – Customer Solutions and Support
Job Purpose: Provide business development and sales support for MPN’s solutions, including communicating to US-based global R&D, Product Management and Customer Support regarding regional sales opportunities, technical training and support business partners and end users within assigned region on how to install and use MPN’s solutions, support of global customers using MPN’s online back-office system, and execution of support services within assigned region.
Accountabilities
• Maintain MPN’s technical competency within assign region. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of MPN’s INSIGHT and MIIM systems. Deliver technical training on MPN’s solutions to internal and external customers. Assist Architects, Consultants, and Engineers with technical designs and specifications incorporating MPN’s solutions. Provide technical support for MIIM deployments into customer networks.
• Work with Sales to consultatively sell its solutions within the assigned region
• Regularly communicate (in English) with regional and R&D, Product Management and Customer Support personnel to facilitate teamwork and drive performance. Provide regular feedback to Sales regarding MPN’s solutions and sales approach.
• Process tickets (in English) within MPN’s global help desk including site warranties based on uploaded test results. Manage, monitor, and measure response levels to customer support requests and provide management with a quarterly report of these activities.
• Provide English-to-local translations of support documentation, including spec sheets, and web page content, as requested
• Refine and deliver approved services in support of MPN’s solutions
• Operate within assigned expense budget
Requirements
• Degree in a technical field from an accredited university or equivalent IT LAN experience
• 5+ years experience in supporting software-based systems or LAN networks. Knowledge of structured cabling required and intelligent infrastructure management a plus.
• Understanding of routers, Layer 3 switches, and .Net technology in a MS Windows environment. NETWORK+ or MCSE certification a plus.
• Must be self-directed and able to support sales to customer senior management as well as support that account post-sale.
• Effectively communicate both in speech and writing in English as well as local language
• Willingness to adapt to rapidly changing environment and new challenges
• Moderate regional travel and infrequent international travel
• Self-directed and able to liaise with senior management and department heads
• Experience in working with many different cultures a plus
